Introducing the Chris Young Quintet

Some of you who celebrated New Year's Eve at the Club will no doubt remember the
music - no doubt a few others barely remembered their own name.

These lads are all members of the Kent Youth Jazz Orchestra, which is made up of the
finest musicians in Kent.
They require work experience in order to achieve the abilities they need in their chosen
profession.
At an average age of approximately 16 years old, pubs and clubs would not be suitable
venues for them and therefore, we are asking people interested in the arts to book them
for private functions, dinner parties etc…

The charge would be a nominal £100 to cover expenses.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Please phone Martin & Amanda Lack on 01622 753500.

Our colleagues now have their own section on the site - please take a look.
In particular note the Club Dinner on 16th February

Mixed Side
The good news is they've been given a home draw in the First Round of the National
Competition, the bad news is we think Phoenix are actually last year's winners!

Support Welcome on Sunday 18th Feb push back 13.30

Mens Vase 3rd Round
Having won on Dorset, the Men's 1sts must travel again, this time to London to face UCL
Academicals who are flying high in their South League Division.

The game will be 25th February with time TBC

Easter Hockey Festival
We have received an invite to a Festival to be held over Easter somewhere near
Southampton. We can enter a Men's, Ladies's or Mixed team at a cost of £30 per head
which includes camping, entertainment and all match fees. The games are played at the
on-site Astro with umpires provided. It does sound like a hoot BUT we need someone to
volunteer to do the organising from our end asap.

If anyone is interested, see the full brochure at
